David’s journey into the inspection industry began in 2012, after he left his position as a franchisee territory and operations manager at PODS. With a robust background in residential construction and home repairs from his teenage years—ranging from new construction to appliance installation—David’s early exposure to the trades was comprehensive. He further honed his skills by operating tractors and other heavy machinery, a testament to his deep roots in a family steeped in the trades. His diverse experiences also include stints in the oil fields, driving CDL trucks, and working in the towing industry.
Driven by an insatiable desire to acquire business acumen, David seized every opportunity to learn, regardless of his position. Between 2012 and 2013, he dedicated himself to obtaining the necessary education, certifications, and licensing required to establish a successful inspection business. He meticulously set up office systems, mastered report writing software, and gathered the essential tools needed for marketing, sustainability, and growth.
Today, David’s inspection business stands as a testament to his personal drive and commitment. It remains a family-owned and operated venture, continually benefiting from his wealth of knowledge—from construction techniques to strategic business operations.
